Weird question...
So lately I've been đọc a lot of the Old Testament, and have noticed that it is written quite frequently that the Israelites were NOT to worship other gods/idols, and in some areas it's thêm specific, telling them not to worship idols that were carved out of wood/stone.
So the most gần đây time I played Ripto's Rage, I played the Idol Springs level, and couldn't help but think of those passages, and how the wooden idols in that level are depicted as evil, hoặc the "bad guys." And it made me wonder, was that on purpose? Were the creators/writers of that level Christians and intentionally made the idols the enemies based on what's written in the Bible? hoặc was it just a coincidence? And what's more, not only are the idols the evil ones, but those guys who were carving them were the ones being attacked bởi them when they came to life, and it makes me also wonder if that's supposed to be some sort of message, that if bạn worship idols like that, it'll only end up hurting you?
Idk, just wondering, has anyone else thought about that? hoặc is it just me? :P
