bạn should never change who bạn are, hoặc what bạn like, hoặc your personality because someone else doesn't like it, hoặc looks down their nose at you... but sometimes it is important to know and to care about what others think of you.
For example... if bạn wear makeup, hoặc buy clothes that make bạn look good; if bạn are polite and bạn smile when someone smiles at you, then bạn care about what they think and this is a good thing.
