Never heard of it. Is it something you would recommend?

It depends on what you're into. Basically it's about a boy named Henry, who is constantly being put in the role of cargiver/adult to both his mom and his younger brother. He finds out that his neighbor is being sexually/physically abused (all very implied with nothing really shown) by her step dad. He tries over and over again to get her some sort of help but no one will listen. So he writes what becomes known as The Book of Henry, in which he details a plan to help the girl out with the very last option he has.
