1. Because, let's face it, if bạn are one of those Democrats that spews constant rubbish about how being environmentally friendly will cost too much, then you'll realise that bạn didn't quite think it through... Where do bạn think we get all the resources from to make money and thêm technology?
2. Because... Life isn't all about humans. There's a whole planet out there and Joe (common Joe) thinks about his stomach.
3. Sustainability. Being thêm sustainable, funnily enough, will actually give humans the chance to be able to use a relative amount of resources and not have to worry about them running out. We can do it with energy... We can do it with forests, too.
4. We're causing a lot of extinctions from human activity and industry... In New Zealand, since the 1800's (and conveniently around the time British settlers arrived) about 25-30% of native birds have gone extinct from human activity - Namely cats, possums, rabbits and Mustelids (ferrets, stoats and weasels) being introduced here.
5. Deforestation. Forests, like the đàn bà gan dạ, amazon and Indonesian rainforests, are being demolished at a ridiculous rate. Pretty soon there won't be much of those forests left. Where will we get wood for building from then?
6. Land degradation. If we are unwise about how we go about agriculture, eventually we will run out of land to use for it. I did some research on this at trường đại học and around 50% of all agricultural land is degraded - Bad enough that it can;t be used again.
7. Global Warming. It's not a myth. Granted, it's not majorly serious at this point, but potentially it could cause some major problems.
8. Climate change. Another major problem and partially linked to global warming. Around the world, weather has been observed to have been indirectly affected from global warming. I believe that La Nina and El Nino are also related.
9. Morals. Morally speaking, how is it fair that we just... want thêm (as James Rachels once đã đưa ý kiến and I believe that this originally stemmed from Socrates, hoặc Aristotle), but we don't want to take care of the conditions to allow for more, without destroying something in return for it? What is so important about human beings?
10. Technology. It could be so much thêm useful and sustainable, but instead of spending thêm money on that, we waste billions each năm just on improving the cool shit that we already have. What is so important about TVs, cellphones and computers that they need to be better at least every six months? I mean, are they not already good enough to begin with...?

So, it's been five years since bạn passed. I wanted to take a few phút to remind people of how wonderful bạn were and how much bạn impacted my life. Honestly, even now, I miss talking to you. I miss your tình yêu các điểm thưởng on my tường and I miss just being able to talk to someone and being to say the things that I can't to anyone else.
Do bạn remember when bạn told me I was ten feet tall and bulletproof? It was almost amusing, but I remember just being pissed off at pumpkinqueen and wanting to throttle her. I also remember that bạn calmed me down and I took a step back and decided not to say anything too stupid.
I wish we'd had thêm time to be Những người bạn and hang out together. I really do. bạn were a wonderful and kind person, with plenty of smarts. And I appreciated every moment of being able to talk to bạn and have someone I could rely on when I needed it.
Thank bạn so much.

I noticed some very sad things if bạn replay the first Red Dead after the prequel..
1: Jack's đắng, cay đắng line "teach me and your just run away again hoặc something" is now sadder when the prequel reveals John ran off for a whole năm when Jack was really little. Jack's clearly still angry.
2: Dutch.. He's some kinda Empty Shell of the man we once knew. The man he and Hosea raised from childhood is now out to kill hoặc capture him. And he clearly hasn't gotten better, mentally. He is now just another crazed enemy.
3: Uncle's death.. Despite having taken a level in jerkass, we feel like we know the man bởi this point. It's like meeting up with an friend... And than watching them get murdered.
4: If bạn have Jack kill Ross, bascally Arthur and John died in vein.. But sadly this is probably the true ending..
5: Seeing Bill and Javier can be rough now..
