Explain why negative times a negative will result in positive answer?

I would do it but I'm not good at math and it's 12 right now, so quite frankly that won't increase the way I'm good at math....at all...actually it makes me quite worse.

The trick is that if there is a negative it will equal to a positive

(-1)(1 + -1) = (-1)(1) + (-1)(-1)
    
(-1)(0) = -1 + -1

0 = -2

As Sherlock Holmes observed, "When bạn have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

Since everything except +1 can be excluded as impossible, it follows that, however improbable it seems, (-1)(-1) = +1.

Debt Debt is a good example of a negative number. One common form of debt is a mortgage in which bạn owe the bank money because the bank paid for your house. It's all about theories and equation. If bạn can assume a+ b= c then that would be the same rule bạn apply with other problems like that. Hence like in the examples in your answer.
