Go to her house to hang out but look around for it as bạn do, hoặc while at her house ask her about it hoặc simply steal the book back without her knowing if it bugs bạn that much.

I had exactly the same problem where my best friend borrowed my book and didn't give it back for 2 years. She kept saying 'oh i put it in my bag this morning, but my mum took it out' and stuff.
The way I got it back, was in R.E, my teacher was asking me what I knew about Anne Frank. Then I told her I had read her diary and I would have it with me, but Micah still needs to give it back.
Then she got embarassed and gave it back:P
