I make fun of my Những người bạn sometimes, but only the close ones.
I can think of two possibilities.
1.) Your Những người bạn are not real Những người bạn but like to take advantage of you.

2.) They are good Những người bạn who make fun of their Những người bạn to tease them, they think of bạn as a close enough friend for them to make fun of bạn without them making bạn mad.

Trust me, I make fun of my step sister all of the time just to annoy her, but I still tình yêu her none the less.
