Lizzy and Darcy are my favorite couple of all time.

And I will be in the minority again, but I loved the 2005 movie. The cinematography, acting, everything was absolutely amazing!

I find the 1995 mini series fabulous as well, and I have watched it many times, but I have always been frustrated that while it got so much of the dialogue and the detail right, it somehow fell flat on some of the more subtle dynamics of the novel.

This is pretty much just me though.

As much as I loved the 2005 version, Colin Firth embodies everything I imagine Mr. Darcy to be. *passes out at the mere thought of him in a wet shirt*

Best on-screen couple, I think. They just got it right.

I was close to choosing Keira and Matthew, but they had enough votes so I went for my second favourite couple.

Keira and Matthew are the best of this list and leave the rest in the dust, in my opinion. Best Lizzy and Darcy ever.
