​press run to meet two inspiring sisters from Newcastle. Rachel Hooley, 11, and Kate Hooley, 15, were nominated to 

​by their mother, in a bid for their bravery and magnificence to be recognised.

In 2011, Rachel became seriously ill aged just 7 when she experienced a complete heart failure. She was on a life support machine, and her only hope of pulling through was to receive a heart transplant. 

Sister Kate was by her side every step of the way, and incredibly when a suitable heart became available and Rachel made a healthy recovery, the sisters have made it their mission to raise money and awareness of organ donation, as well as support the family who donated to her.

The girls met One Direction as an act of recognition for their incredible journey, as well as to continue raising awareness for the cause.
