I liked him.

Tbh yes, I was never impressed with his acting.

I think he tends to mumble his lines a lot, especially in the later seasons (which is odd, because isn't your line delivery supposed to get BETTER as you act more/get older?).
I still wouldn't call him a bad actor, though.

He was decently good and serviceable in the first two seasons but after that, his acting just kept getting worse and worse. Her lacks facial expressions, his shouting sounds both forced and half-assed at the same time, and his line delivery is bland and he mumbles them A LOT. I don't dislike the kid or anything because he seems like a good kid and would be fun to hang out with but he sucks at acting. His singing is pretty good from that one line he sang in the song A Happy Beginning. That one line sang impressed me MUCH more than any of his acting he's done in the six seasons. Even child actors who only appear for one episode and are much younger than him are MUCH better than him, so I'm not buying any of that bull crap about him just being a kid so it excuses his bad acting. He's not even a little kid for most of his career on the show but instead a teenager. It's odd that I still like this kid (as a person, anyway) and still love Henry.

I feel like most people who defend his acting are just too used to him being Henry and can't take their nostalgia glasses off. Wow, this show has being around so long it's become nostalgic lol.
