I'm in love with my best friend who I think is straight, but not in relationship.

^sounds a lot like me....we joke that we're dating but it's not in a romantic way...to put it simply 'we're like an old married couple.' I love her not sure what context. We've been the best of friends for 10years and I'm more of a parent to her three year old son then his daddy is. She calls me her baby daddy jokingly in private and the 'Alternate Parent' When talking to anyone else(like Leo's(her 3 year old) preschool). She was the first one I told when I finally realized it. Unfourtionly she's straight as I am lesbian otherwise we would have been married long time ago and Leo wouldn't exist :(

Mostly everybody at my school is straight. Besides I don't want to be in a relationship now because I'm trying to focus on my studies and graduate from high school. Maybe then after will I be ready to begin a relationship.
