It was a windy December ngày in the city of New York, as everyone was getting ready for their daily Monday routine. “Another day, another dollar”, thought Rich as he was waiting for his train to work at the office.

The wind was blowing very hard, it almost blew poor Richard away. Then a paper came at his direction, landing in his hands. Then a girl came running. Then, the wind blew one of the pages to Richard’s báo cáo to Rachel’s face. He then lightly took the paper sticking to her face, and suddenly she started laughing. “Why was she laughing?” he wondered. Then he saw the lipstick mark on his paper and started laughing too.
Then just as he was about to say something, she was gone. “Where did she go?” he thought. Then he saw her getting on a train. As the train was leaving, Rachel looked back at Rich through the window. Rich was smiling at her as she looked, she smiled back and then…she was gone. That was it…or so Richard thought that was it.
When Rich got to work, all he was doing was looking at the copy of his báo cáo which had Rachel’s lipstick mark on it.
Later, his boss, rudely, dropped a pile of papers on his bàn for him to work on. As he did, he gave Rich a very ‘you’re a poor excuse of a man’ kind of look. Then he left coldly to his office.
As Rich was about to start his work, the paper with Rachel’s lipstick on it started flying in the windows direction. Fortunately, Rich caught it. As he caught the paper, from the building across…there she was! There was Rachel! She must be at her job interview there.
Rich was trying like an idiot to get her attention, raising his hands in the air. But then, his boss saw and yelled “Mr. Madden! Get back to work!”
Then, an idea popped in his mind. He could get his attention bởi nghề viết văn a note on the pieces of paper his boss gave, make it into a paper airplane, and fly it to her room. That would get her attention.
As Rich aimed for the room Rachel was in, the wind blew it away.
Rich was a bit upset about it, but no matter. He just tried the same process. When he aimed it this time, a flock of pigeons knocked it down. Then it landed in the wrong room. Then it blew down. And again Rich tried. And again. And again. And again. Until suddenly, all his paper was gone.
The only paper left was the one with Rachel’s lipstick on it. Rich really didn’t want to use it, but it seemed like he had no other choice. So he wrote a note, made into a paper airplane, and just before he could aim, the paper slipped right through his hands and flew downward. As it did, it seemed Rachel’s job interview was over. She was leaving.
In devastation and anxiety, Rich was quickly going toward the door. But as he was about to go, his boss showed up with thêm paper, saying “Enough of your buffoonery, Mr. Madden.”
Rich just sat back down, looking depressed, getting back to work. But then he thought “No, I’m not just gonna sit here and let tình yêu slip through my fingers. I’m not gonna sit here working in this dead end job, I have no interest in. It’s time I take a stand!”
“Mr. Dance, I quite!” Rich yelled just before he left rushing through the doors going downstairs, with his coat. He rushed down, like he’d never done before. But it was no use. She was gone. And so was the paper with her lipstick on it.
“FUCK!” Rich yelled at the sky as people around him stared in confusion and awe.
Rich was not having a good day. First, he Mất tích his job. Then, he Mất tích the girl. “Could this get any worse?” He thought. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a paper flew into his eyes. As he was trying to get it off, he couldn’t and he tripped and fell into the subway.
He was able to get the paper off this time, but as he was about to stand, a bunch of people pushed him into a very crowded train and he couldn’t do anything about it.
“Excuse me”, Rich was saying. “Excuse me…Ouch…Can bạn please move…Excuse me…MOVE YOUR FUCKIN đít, mông, ass OUT OF THE WAY!” He was yelling, but it didn’t help. He was being pushed inside the train.
Meanwhile, as Rachel was walking towards the subway, she stopped bởi a hoa stand. She normally wasn’t romantic at all but looking at the hoa reminded her of the cute guy she saw today. She couldn’t stop thinking about him, even at her job interview. Which is probably why she felt the job interview was a disaster.
“What’s wrong with me?” Rachel thought to herself. “I don’t even know his name.”
Then, Rachel saw something. It was the paper with her lipstick mark on it. The one that belonged to the guy she saw this morning. It was shaped like an airplane.
As Rachel was about to grab it, the wind was blowing it away. Rachel decided to chase after it like a little girl catching a firefly. She did so, thinking this could be destiny calling her.
She followed the flying plane all the way inside a train and got on.
She was eventually able to grab it. And wondered where this train was taking her.
Rich was sitting in the train feeling depressed. Like he had no purpose in life anymore. Like he’d just được trao up.
Then the train stopped and the conductor announced “This is the last stop. Please exit the train, and we hope bạn have a an toàn, két an toàn trip. Thank bạn for riding.”
As Rich stepped out of the train, he saw…Rachel! Holding the paper airplane with her lipstick on it. As he saw her, he thought “It’s her!”
Rachel saw Rich as well, thinking “It’s him!”
Then, it suddenly started snowing. This first snow of December. And at that, both of them had the same thought in their minds. “He’s the one.” “She’s the one.”
