What is your Ancestry?

Well we don't know that much about my mother's side. But we know that her family were some of the very first pilgrims to settle in America, about at the same time as the Mayflower. So I have lots of English Irish and a little bit of Scottish and Welsh in me. And a lot of Native American as well. Most of my Native ancestry comes from the Powhatan tribe, which also means there's a very good chance I'm related to Pocahontas :D
On my dad's side it's mostly German/Prussian. Actually, his family came to America directly from Prussia (East Germany) around the time of the American civil war. And considering it was only a few people out of that huge family that went to America I probably have tons of distant relatives still in Germany.
So my ancestry is mostly English, Irish, Native American, and German/Prussian. But if bạn were to trace back my ancestry far enough I also have some French and a little bit of Scandinavian, Polish, Dutch, and possibly Swiss and Italian. And if I knew my mother's side better then I bet I could find a lot thêm races I am =)

So I mentioned this before...

Both sides of the family can trace Spanish ancestry, immigrants from Spain during the colonial times hence our Spanish surname. (Surname came from a Spanish bloodline rather than a designated name bởi colonial officials to Malay natives.) These Spaniards inter-married with the Malays. Nowadays, our clans have thêm Malay blood than Caucasian (of course... it was how many generation cách đây since the peninsulares days.). Philippines is a mix of Malay and Caucasian race hoặc Chinese with combination of any of the former races. That's the simplified concept of the major population of Filipino nationality. My mom's grandfather is (or should I say was?) an American (not sure what type of Caucasian). But overall... uh... I'm not pretty sure what I look most like... Not sure if I look Malay enough (my skin complexion is the same color as that of my avatar. So it's lighter than standard Malay brown. Mine is yellowish (I'm not suffering from hepa hoặc something.), and I'm pretty sure I don't look like a Caucasian. Some people have even mistaken me to be a Korean. (lols, what the?... How's that even possible?... I swear I don't look like one. I bet it's the result of watching too much korean dramas that's influencing their vision XD...)

I'd tình yêu to tell bạn about my ancestry but I'm adopted so I don't know really anything. All I can say is my mother is Mexican and my father has German and Irish blood. I'll definitely try asking them the tiếp theo time I can contact them~ I'd honestly tình yêu to know about my family's genealogy~

Oh man,,, Let's see if I can shorten it a little.

-Cuban, Spanish and Italian on my mom's side.
-English, French and Italian on my dad's side.
-But the Cuban, SPanish, English and French all goes far back
-Also, i've been told I have some German too, but it's not confirmed (I hope I do though!)
-everyone on my Dad's side from my grandparents down all came from Spain (including my dad -R.I.P.-)
-Everyone on my mom's side from my GREAT grandparents down all came from Italy (including myself)
-my papa moved to Italy with his family, met my mum, fell in love, got married, had me and we moved to the U.S. when I was 3 years old! :)

That about sums it up!

I had a very interesting conversation with my Grandma a few days ago. She đã đưa ý kiến that my great, great grand parents on my mum's side came from Italy, but they were very poor so they decided to di chuyển to Manchester in England for a better lifestyle. I think my great, great grandad worked as a barber. :D
And then there's my Dad's side which came from Ireland. My grand parents also went to live in England so that that they could have my Dad and his five siblings. My Dad đã đưa ý kiến I might even have some Spanish descendants in my ancestry because they once married into Irish society. :3
I also have family living in America and New Zealand. I hope I get to visit them one day. :)

From what I know I'm totally french since some generations already! ^^

I am 3 quarters English, with the rest being Australian. Although, I may have some Norwegian descendance. I really think it'd be cool if one of my descendants was a VIKING!

On my mother's side of the family, I have a mixture of English, Irish, and Scottish. (In fact, my ancestors were quite rich, and used to hang peasants out the window into their courtyard for fun.)

On my dad's side, only English; I'm pretty sure my ancestors on that side were English convicts sent to Tasmania as punishment for their crimes.

But I'm 100% Aussie yo.

Well, my great grandmother was Hungarian, but the rest of the family was (so far) Serbian. That's about all the history I know, my family doesn't keep that many records/papers. My mother and her parents did used to live in Germany for a few years while she was young (I guess that, kinda, explains my German/UK birthmark on my leg XD). Dad's side is of a Serbian origin (at least what I found). I could also (maybe) be of a Turkish origin, because Serbia was ruled bởi the Ottoman Empire. There could also be a few Greek and Roman streaks.
However, my first name is of a Hebrew/Greek/Latin origin and my last name is of a Serbian origin. The name (Jovana) is a female verson of the name Jovan, that resulted from the Latin name Johannes (Johannes), which came from the Greek name: Johannes (Ιωαννης), and that of the Hebrew name Johanan (יוחנן). Another form of this name is Jovanka.
Jovanović is one of the most common surnames of Serbs. It is believed that the first Jovanovići inhabited the territory of southern Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija. Most Serbian surnames are recognizable bởi the suffix - ić. The suffix - ić is a Slavic diminutive (meaning to hiển thị affection, like "tiny" hoặc "wee"), whose role is in creating patrons (father's inherited surname) and matrons (mother's inherited surname).
So, I'm not really sure what to make of that information. I guess I'm of a Serbian-Hungarian origin

Well, my father's side has a lot of Persian (Iranian) in it, as well as Irish. My ancestors moved from Iran to Ireland a long time ago, and I still have some close relatives from there, hence my knowledge of their language.

My mother's side on the other hand, are from all over the UK. Irish, Scottish, Welsh, English. Though my mum herself is a native Londoner, nearly half of my mother's side are Irish.

So to conclude, I'd say about 48% of my ancestry is Irish, and the rest are all a mixture of Iranian, Scottish, Welsh and English.

Hmm...how should I answer this?

Both of my parents families are mostly from Asia...We have some Arab blood (from my dads side)..which is why dad and us (my siblings, me, even mom) are mistaken to be Arabs ... I don't really know how I'm supposed to answer this though....

I am very Irish. I am very sad that there is not an Ireland character that I've seen. I am also French, British, Dutch, German, Portuguese, Scottish, and Indonesian. Oh boy. I hate having to explain to new friends, especially when I don't have characters to help explain to them. I actually created a montage of các bức ảnh to hiển thị when I explain my genealogy!

I am almost completely Norwegian, with some Sami somewhere far in it according to our family tree.

I have no idea... :\ The most I know is my dad's side is Japanese and my mom's side is Chinese, though my grandma moved from China to Singapore and my mom was born there... And that's all I know...

Basically I'm half Chinese and half Japanese. I'm a full Asian. ._.

As far as I know, I'm completely Indian. Although if bạn want me to get a bit thêm specific, both of my parents are South Indian. My mom's side is from a city called Chennai, and my dad's side is from a city called Hyderabad.
Wow...all of bạn guys have really cool mixed cultural backgrounds...I feel like the odd one out right now. xD

I'm mostly Dutch (about 99,9%) the other 0,1% is German/Prussian (one of my ancestors was a soldier in the Prussian army) I also have second-cousins in Canada because a great-uncle on my father's side moved to Canada after WWII ended.

Well I don't know much but on my mom's side it's Italian, Irish, and a little bit of Lithuanian. On my dad's side it's French and I don't know what else.

I am 1/3 Italian, 1/3 Polish and 1/3 Ukrainian.

I don't know much about my family from very far back, but my dad is Portuguese, and my mom is Peruvian. My mom told me that her great great great great grandparents (I think) were from Spain, and her father was half-Portuguese.
