my best HP memory is of the DH midnight release party, it was alot of fun and it was cool being surrounded by a bunch of people that loved harry potter as much as I do :)

I've read them since the first one came out when I was 8 and I've played many a game, bought many a toy, and written down every spell and charm at some point!

Really, one of my favories was at the Midnight showing of ootp wich just so happened to be on the same night as the DH midnight release party. It was great me and my friend were in the theater and when Bellatrix broke out of Azkaban i laughed and was like "whos that crazy chick" ever since then i liked her the best. I also loved when Umbridge got captured by the cenaturs. Well after the movie i went to the DH reles party. There was a huge line when we fianally got to the front it was closeing time. So i picked up a random twing pointed it at the employ and screamed avadara kedevara. Everyone was laughing and the guy I said that to let me and my friend go in for a little bit.

Not really a friend memory, since I was pretty much on my own with Harry Potter until recently (now I have a few Fanpoppers I can geek with). None of my trips to the theater were very pleasant, as I'm always disappointed by the films. Most of the time I spent reading it though, was nice. People knew better than to bother me, I might as well have had a sign next to me saying gone to Hogwarts, bbl. =P

^^ me too with the fanpoppers thing. Lol I had a small wand from when I was Hermione for holloween when I was about 5 or 6 and I remember running around with that short stubby wand pointing it at stuff and shouting like made up spells XD god I was a real dork, still am. Lol I also distinctly remember running around on a kitchen broom thinking I culd fly! XD I used to jump of stools and be like "whaooo!!!" XD. Lol thank god I grew out of the flying thing, I dont do that anymore. Lol I still want to fly tho even if it's never gonna happen. Lol I also updated to a cooler wand lol it's proper size and looks way more realistic. Lol it's Harry's and the tip lights up. I always say lumos before lighting it and nox when turning it off XD. Lol so what if i'm a teenager whose in high school?? I'm a kid at heart always will be :)

i think every little kid has tryed to fly and do magic at least once. me and my sis use to dress the same (not any more) but we were both hermione one year and we did the same thing.

Oh, sooo many! If you would ask me to list them all, It would take me a few hours... Half my childhood was Harry Potter. Well, not only childhood, actually...

So many!! When I watch the movies, I remember every funny question my brother asked me (cuz he doesn't believe in reading),when we saw them in the theatres. My brother, our neighbors and I had so many fake duels and quidditch games. I had a babysitter when I was little and she'd play Hogwarts with us (she was all the professors, voices and all), and one Halloween, she even helped me with my Hermione costume...I could go on and on. I've made so many of my friends bonding over Harry Potter. It's been so much of my childhood and teen years. I'll always have those memories, and I intend on making more :)

Harry Potter is still making memories for me to this day. It is that amazing.

every time i think i've outgrown it, i'm always surprised and delighted to find that i get just as engrossed in the HP world as ever.

Like simpleplan I grew up with them too. Even when the movies are all finished I am sure I will keep on having harry potter memories. I dont believe it is possible for me to outgrow harry potter, sure maybe I wont be obessed with it but I am certain I will always love the Harry Potter series. I will always remeber the times I spent with my family and friends laughing and crying over the books, Harry Potter is something that if you truely love it you will never forget it.

Harry Potter is one of the very forst books I read by myself, and he's the one who got me hooked on fantasy. I really love to read (I even won money doing it xD), and I think it started with the Potterness.

Well... I read all the books in the summer. I get a calm, peaceful feeling whenever I think of Harry Potter because of the relaxed atmosphere I was in when I first read the books. It's hard to explain.
