Thoughts on the Malfoys?

Narcissa- Evil hoặc just family oriented? I personally believe that she is just doing what she has to do to protect her family and keep them an toàn, két an toàn and alive.
Lucius-I believe that he was truly evil up until he was put in prison and his family was put in jeaprody, and that made him turn a little, he still wasnt a good guy.
Draco- Draco is in no way evil. He is selfish, and bratty, ans spoiled, yes, and even high-strung, but not evil. At the end of the series, I really think he was just a confused little boy who despretly wanted to prove himself and keep his family togther

Just like any bully, they're cowards under the swagger.
LUCIUS- Lucius voluntarily joined the death eaters and was one of Voldemorts leading death eaters. I guess he wanted some of Voldemorts power. He was a rich I guess upper class wizard who was just greedy. Then I suppose when he realised it wasn't so great he got cold feet...
NARCISSA- she was married to this powerful man, I don't think she would have been that pleased with him being a death eater, but at the time they were feared the most and she probably wanted to feel protected bởi him? I don't know. And then when her family was in danger she helped Harry. I don't think she was ever "evil" as such.
DRACO- huge, huge coward, spoilt posh kid who thinks he's amazing. When faced with real danger, he is scared. He isn't "evil" at all. He wants to follow his fathers example, little does he know that lucius is just as big a coward as he is.

Ok that was longer than I anticipated...sorry! :)

I prefer long answers, as long as they are good. And yours is! Its basically what Im saying, and thinking. Lucius is the only one that has ever been evil. Narcissa's just in it for the money and importance, and then only for her son. and Draco wants to prove himself to daddy. Thats all

The Malfoys were damn great characters. Ones of the greatest characters of Harry Potter. They are flesh and blood, real mortals, feeble humans.
LUCIUS: He was a high class wizard who believed in the ideas of Voldemort. The sickness of his society circle. He joined him, but we don't know much of his actions as the servant of Voldemort. His time came after Voldemort was gone. He was rich, powerful, influential, and enjoyed it. Who would not? He provided his family the best. After Voldemort's return he was step bởi step rid of post in society. His family was hurt, endangered and humiliated. Who would like that? Lucius was not a coward, just a feeble person in the wrong place at the wrong time.
NARCISSA: High class wife. Beautiful, loving, caring, moderately snobby. Loved Lucius and his son. That one hit back, Draco was deadly spoilt. She was definitely NOT coward, she risked her life for Harry and her son.
DRACO: Spoilt kid of rich parents. What can we do? He wasn't a coward either (though the most worthy of the attribute from the family). He tried to kill Dumbledore and almost succeeded. It was his better judgment that made things turn out otherwise. His soul was too innocent to kill Dumbledore. We saw him cry in the toilet. He was a child. All along. And bạn don't call children cowards. He didn't grow up, he didn't sense the real world, he was too messed up in his rich and spoilt world and later on in his desperation.
