What makes bạn a TRUE Harry Potter fan?

well of course i have a medal in the spot, i own all the hp sách in many editions and i think that i know almost EVERYTHING about harry potter!! but wat makes me a real người hâm mộ is the way i feel about the hp characters and the whole story...now after the 7books have published, i've fell the agony for the new book coming soon, the relief that harry made it this year, the excitement that voldemort was defeated again, the annoyance that ron acted like a total dork, the happiness that harry had his Những người bạn tiếp theo to him, the feeling of completion when the headmaster explained wat was goin on in the end of the book, the depression that sirius, dumbledore and so many others died, the empty không gian inside me when the serie was over...
i think that these make me a TRUE harry potter fan, the feelings that got me closer to the fictional characters and let me hope with them "till the very end" as rowling said..

I think its all about feeling. When bạn learn about & connect to certain characters bạn tend to get hooked. The Potter stories were so easy to get Mất tích in the stories.

I think that a true người hâm mộ is someone who truly loves the stories and is thankful that J.K. Rowling shared them with us. I don't think that it's about how much bạn own of the series, how many huy chương bạn have, etc. I think it's about your tình yêu for the characters of the stories and truly whishing and wanting to make it to the end with them, even though it's fictional. It's not when bạn started đọc them, how hoặc why, it's what bạn feel whilst đọc them and how bạn grow thêm tình yêu for the charatcers as the story develops. bạn go through the same emotions and experiences that they go through and end up feeling so in-tune with the books, that bạn are part of it, because if something were to happen to one of the characters, it would end up affecting bạn somehow- maybe not necessarily crying, but you'd feel a loss, and that's how much you've grown with the sách yourself. I think that as long as bạn truly tình yêu the series, characters and great writing, no one can deny that you're a true fan. :)

The thing i own. i even collect harry potter stuff! dolls, books, beans, and more! i luuuuuv harry potter and i want to be in the deathly hallows movie but that is 1% happening.

I don't own anything except the sách and DVDs, kind of grew out of xollections stuff (except my X-Files collection, but that's not the point :P)

So I guess what makes me a người hâm mộ is the things I know, the frequency I re-read the sách with, the fanfictions I read thêm often than I read the actual books. I don't care for huy chương and stuff like that, but I do tình yêu to meet people who share the same passions I do, so I should add, the amount of new people I met after I read the sách :)

Being a true Harry Potter người hâm mộ is only a matter of opinion. Sure, we'd all like to think that we're all true HP fans, but to other people we may not be. So...I say just tình yêu HP and all of its glory and don't let anyone tell bạn what bạn are and what bạn aren't. :) I just know that I tình yêu Harry Potter to death.

...And Alan Rickman, Severus Snape, Jason Isaacs and Lucius Malfoy.

i have watched all the movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way I connect to the HP universe and its message.
The way I relate to my fav character - Severus.
The fanfics I write, mostly about him.
The way I relate to the House of Slytherin and the qualities of that House.
The locket I have in which I have an image of Severus and another one of the Slytherin crest.

To me bạn have to have read the sách (and honestly I feel like bạn have to tình yêu them far thêm than the movies) - but who am I to say what makes people true fans? That's just the case for me :]

What makes me a true fan? I just tình yêu the story, and the writing, everything about the books! I have a Slytherin hat and a few replica wands, but even if I didn't have those, I'd still be a fan, because I don't believe bạn have to have every single McDonald's novelty plastic toy, bạn just have to simply tình yêu it.

You're a TRUE người hâm mộ if bạn like and enjoy the sách and movies. It's really that simple.

Not everyone can afford to Cosplay hoặc but a ton of merchandise. Not everyone can afford to buy tickets and see the movie thrice in the theatre.

Not everyone has time to earn a medal on this spot.

I really do hate it when people set standards as to what makes a person a fan. Especially if đã đưa ý kiến people base the standards on things like "you're not a người hâm mộ if bạn don't like Harry!"

plus i own a harry potter wand, harry potter Robe, Harry Potter Tie, and Harry Potter scarf, i own all 8 phim chiếu rạp (plus extra copies if the disks get scratched), 5 Harry Potter video games, i own almost every book, and i still prefer quidditch then vampire baseball anyday

It's simple: having read the books/watched the films (preferably both) and liked them a lot. Getting emotionally attached to them. Possibly them being your favourite series, hoặc one of your favourites.

It isn't to do with collecting merchandise hoặc having huy chương here hoặc anything of that sort.
