I always believed being called a geek was a compliment. I never really saw Hermione as "the geek" though. Her character is different than a stereotypical female character. If she was cool than she would technically be a Mary-Sue and then I wouldnt like her that much. No one loves a character thêm than one with flaws because not only can we relate, but it makes the person thêm interesting! I think that her nerd factor is very endearing, and cute. Both Harry and Ron had flaws so just because she's the only girl and talented, doesnt mean she has to be perfect. The reason I loved Harry so much was because he wasnt perfect and that applies to Hermione, too.

I think that her being smart is better then her being dumb. Beacause when Harry needs her she always helps if she was dumb then theyed probably be dead. Ron's I guess 'cool' Harry's được ưa chuộng and Hermione is smart! There's nothing wrong with having a smart girl in the group.
