yeah, i was gonna post the same câu hỏi cuz i have no idea how this would be possible. i'm not just talking physically, but also aren't giants supposed to be very vicious so it's hard to understand how the dad could have fallen in tình yêu with her hoặc how she could be attracted to him since he's a wizard and they hate magic. well, as the others have said, magic must have played a role here. like he gave her a tình yêu potion and did some other spells to protect himself from bodily harm.

In one of the books, I think it explains that his mother was a giant,and his father was something else I think...I believe it was in the Deathly Hallows...
