Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 are about 1 hr and 45 minutes which is and average non-Twilight film. It'll be a long film with a lot of content if it was squished together. Separately, they're not. Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2 were LONG movies with a lot of content which was why they were LONG MOVIES. Plus, I said long movies compared to the others (since they were 2 hours and some change).

Yes, Harry Potter movies are draggy and long, but Twilight movies are not short (according to your criteria of 2 hours).

DH2 is 125 minutes (2 hours and 5 minutes). BD2 is 116 minutes (1 hour and 56 minutes -That's only 4 minutes short of an hour.) (BD 1 is one minute longer)
ALL other Twilight and Harry Potter movies are longer than 2 hours.

If those 4 minutes means Breaking Dawn is short and lacks content, but 10 minutes shorter means "chill out"... Well, this new paradox is hilarious.

I was speaking of both Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Part 2. If it were all to be one movie (which it should have been) then it would have been a good movie with a lot of content (like the others). Separately (at least for BDP1) they don't which was why they're much much shorter than the others. I agree with you on the whole "draggy" thing when it comes to the first 6 HP films. As for the last two there really weren't any draggy scenes that wasn't relevant to the plot at all. Most of BDP1 was slow motion music montages and nature shots, anyway.

It's one thing to say that Meyer copied the splitting of the movie into to parts but far fetched to assume that the timings where copied.

^ I kind of understand why the split it into two movies, though. When you really think about it, BD would be pretty rushed and kind of awkward if it were all one movie.

It's Mockingjay that needs to keep it all in one movie.
