Nieuwe Harry Potter-film breekt alle records

Het releaseweekend van de achtste en laatste Harry Potter-film is een voltreffer geworden. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, deel II" bracht volgens het vakblad Hollywood Reporter het voorbije weekeinde wereldwijd een sensationele 475,6 miljoen dollar (337 miljoen euro) op.

Met dit bedrag breekt de nieuwe Potter-film het record van voorganger "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", die tijdens het openingsweekeinde in 2009 ook al een slordige 394 miljoen dollar opleverde.
De laatste saga in de blockbusterreeks van Harry Potter ging het voorbije weekeinde in première in 59 landen. In Noord-Amerika bracht de film die eerste dagen meteen 168,8 miljoen dollar in het laatje. Het vorige record stond op de naam van de Batman-film "The Dark Night" uit 2008. Die leverde het eerste weekend 158 miljoen dollar op.
Over de rest van de wereld bracht de laatste Harry Potter-film het voorbije weekeinde nog eens 307 miljoen dollar op. Ook dat is een absoluut record. Ook in België wordt de prent sinds enkele dagen in de bioscoopzalen vertoond. (Belga / OSN)

Veronica parked her car in front of her Supernatural prison. She stepped out and walked to the back of her car.

Meg staggered alongside the walls in the hospital. She held her left hand against her side and with her right hand she sought support. She had to find that idiot of an angel. She had listened to her voicemail and she figured he’d be here. It was at least worth a shot. She saw a door opening near the end of the aisle. Dean came out of the room and looked her way.
