Totally agree! Poor kid.

It's not really lame as Rickon was never a major character and wasn't that important, same could be said for Tommen before Joffery's death as we only saw him from time to time, same with Gendry and the Brotherhood without banner we haven't seen Gendry since he started rowing because he was no longer significant to Arya's or Stannis story lines.

^ Yeah you could say that, but then the difference is that Rickon was brought back only to be caught and killed... So instead of showing anything about the adventures of the character AT ALL, all we get is him being captured and killed, it's like this; "Hey, good news guys, we'll be bringing Rickon back to the show, aren't you happy? Rickon appears, Rickon dies....

And I could also have made confessions about the others but I just chose Rickon BECAUSE he did come back and he was killed, so it isn't the same thing entirely.

Other than that is that I just wished they would finally do something with his character when he appeared, especially now that the actor was older and could do more and act more.

Totally! Rickon deserved to be developed as a character, but they never did that, and now they brought him back just to kill him...
