CC and Private sat at the table, while Skipper dissappeared into Kowalski's lab. CC snuck up to the door, and leaned against it, tryng to listen. She only heard muffled voices.
Soon the door opened, and she fell forward, having put all her weight on it. She look up at Skipper, who was grinning.
"Couldn't wait, huh?" he asked, and motioned for her and Private to enter.
Inside the lab was dimly lit, and CC could just see Kowalski standing beside some object, covered with a large piece of cloth.
"What is it?" CC asked, reaching out to feel it.
"Don't touch it!" Kowalski cried.
"But I wanna see!"
"Don't touch!" Kowalski slapped her flipper away.
Just then, the lab door opened, and Rune bounded in.
"What's this?" she asked.
"Nothing for bạn to play with," Skipper replied, picking her up, and carrying her out of the room. "Maybe when you're older."
"Aw, come on, Skippy!" Rune complained, as Skipper dropped her outside the lab door. "I just wanna-" she was cut off bởi the door being slammed shut. She yelled something out in German, and CC cringed.
"Where does she learn that?"
"Now," đã đưa ý kiến Kowalski, and he pulled the cloth off of the contraption. "Ta da!" He revealed a large machine, that looked a lot like a large telephone booth, with two chambers to enter into, and lots of buttons, and leavers, and blinky things, which I don't know what they were for, but they looked nice.
"What is it?" CC repeated.
"It's a TDU-3000."
"And?"
"And what?"
"What does it do?"
"Oh, yes, Kowalski chuckled, and opened the two chamber doors. "One goes inside, and it teleports them to a different Universe."
"But there is only one Universe," CC protested.
"No, apearently not. Anyway, it takes bạn to a ngẫu nhiên destenation, and, once there, bạn have to locate a specific object in order to return home."
"And what might that object be?" Private asked.
"It's random. It gives bạn your instructions once you're there. Sometimes the place might have strange creatures, and sometimes it might have nobody else at all!"
"Sounds lonely," Private gasped.
"But then again, it might be for the better," Kowalski continued. "Because people who are there might be wild, and savage."
"Sounds dangerous!" Private whimpered.
"Either way, we'll never know for sure, until someone's gone. This hasn't been tested yet, since I only started making it when I noticed your little games, so I thought, why not send them off on a real adventure?"
"But what if something goes wrong? Like, we can't find the object, hoặc one of us is injured, hoặc something?"
"You will be able to find the object, no matter how long. And if something goes terribley wrong, well.... I don't know what will happen. I'm hoping the mission will reset, and bring bạn back, but I've never worked with this kind of technoligy before." Kowalski glanced nervously at Skipper, who was glaring.
"Kowalski, I won't let these kids - hoặc anyone - test this machine if it's dangerous."
"It's not, sir," Kowalski reassured him. "If something goes wrong, they'll just have to find the item, and get back." He turned to CC and Private. "What do bạn say?"
"Let's go!" CC cried, grabbing Private's flipper, and entering on of the chambers. Private reluctently went into the other.
"Alright, here we go!" Kowalski shouted.
Private squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for whatever was going to happen. Suddenly, he felt he was spinning really fast, and he felt exreamely dizzy. When he opened his eyes, all he saw were whirling shapes, and had to close them again. Then, as suddenly as it started, the feeling stopped, and everything went black.

I was watching over Manhattan feeling like no threat can defeat me. I notice the Throbbing Cerebellum behind me.
TC: Beautiful sight, isn't it?
Me: It sure is, brainiac.
TC: And where there's a city like that, there's the antithesis of the visual thesis.
Me: And where there's people like that, there are people like us.
TC: But everything will change when the mask comes off.
Me: What?
TC: Everything will change when it comes to the point where your friends, family, and enemies will find out who bạn really are.
Worried, I nearly forget to breathe. Then, as I take a big gasp of air, I wake up, finding myself sitting up in my bed, still listening to "Superman (It's Not Easy)" on my ipod. I thought for weeks about what it would be like if the other three penguins, David, Jessica, and Jiggles found out. I told Kowalski everything at first and Mastique caught me turning into the alter ego that wasn't Angela Bult. Everything will definitely change, I wish I knew if it was good hoặc bad.

Silence is Deadly
bạn flee from the scene where all the blood shed.
bạn cry over dead bodies of those bạn just met.
With future uncertain, your silence is key,
Though sometimes this silence can be deadly.
One word can lead to a fight, another to war,
Then in the end you'll find your hearts sore,
From all the fire, all the distress,
But you'll never give up, not yet.
A troigger is pulled and gun is heard,
Once again, no one says a word,
bạn just want to stop the violence,
But the killing is because of your silence.
"one word may start a war, but I promise, silence is a fr thêm deadly weapon than any gun hoặc dao, con dao you've ever known," - Mark, from "of the unwanted"
