FanFiction.net Câu Hỏi

I have a strange câu hỏi that I just feel the need to ask, how do bạn classify God in a người hâm mộ fiction?

Now this feels weird to ask, but I just have to... would he be concidered OC [for non believers] hoặc nonfiction [for believers]or other? Please help.

My người hâm mộ fiction involves a great deal of the use of religion, but when considering the intended content of the story [M} rated Yaoi, I'm a little hesitant to use the word G O D, istead I've been using a replacement word, but it just doesn't feel the same, so I was thinking of replasing the made up word with the thêm come [non-fictional] word, but I don't know.

I have two main characters and one is a true Monotheist who gets sent on a mission bởi God, and the word itself does come up as something like a living force like a character in the story (sort of like how the ring in Lord of the Rings is viewed as a character with a will of it's own though it's just a ring) I figured that some people might view the word God the same way. Like a figure in it's self, so I must say this puts me in a bit of a bind... Does anyone have any Lời khuyên that could help me out? What would bạn do?

I would just use the word God.

I don't see why bạn can't use it.

I think there's a bit of confusion in your explanation about fiction/non-fiction, OC hoặc not. Fictions are works coming out of someone's imagination (novels fall into that category), while non-fiction are all the works that do not tell an imaginary story but rather deals with concepts (political essays, for example) hoặc with the true story of someone famous (a biography). Whether bạn believe in God has nothing to do here. It's like science-fiction hoặc heroic fantaisie : whether we believe in it hoặc not has nothing to do with it : they are fictional works. Look at Harry Potter : these sách are fictional works, whether we believe in magic hoặc not.

In FF.net, the characters that belong to the series/movies/books/etc are listed. If any character bạn create hoặc make appear in your story is not part of the "cast" of characters of the series/movies/books/etc, then it falls into the category of "original character". Hence if God is not a character from the original series/movies/books/etc, if God is in your story because bạn wanted Him to be there, so He is an "original character". It has nothing to do with believing in God hoặc not.

As for your use of GOD as a word in your story, be aware of this : we are limited in words to grasp concepts far above our limited understanding. God is a reality that no word on this earthly plane can grasp, hence our imperfect words to call him. Hence His many names. We use GOD as a practical way to name the concept of Deity. The same goes for the use of the male pronouns to address God : He, Him, His, etc. (with a capital, to hiển thị we're talking about God). This is purely a convention as the Deity has no gender and is a spiritual concept so elevated, so perfect, so grand, that no human mind can encompass it.

So feel free to use the word "God", because whatever word bạn may use, this is simply a convention. Always bet on the intelligence of your readers. However, your readers will understand bạn best if bạn use the most appropriate word for the concept bạn wish to address. That's the most important thing writers much achieve : convey a message and for that, be as clear as possible for their readership.

Sorry about the long explanation but that's an interesting and inspiring câu hỏi that bạn asked.

And I thank bạn for it. It made all the point clear where I wasn't quite sure, and is just what I needed to know. Now I can go back and make the changes that have been nagging at me from the start of my writing. At last:D

Good luck for your writing. As a fanfic writer myself, I know how difficult it can be sometimes to put down things into words.
