It's all right. I wish I could win against a liar like Pocahontas did.

I like it but not as well as the orginal.I was kind of disponited by the end of sequel,but I'm not gonna go there right now.I just perfer the orginal over the sequel.I'm just huge Pocahontas and Smith shipper,so I don't watch sequel to much because of what happens at the end.Sorry I don't really like Rolfe too much!

I totally adore the first part with Smith and then Pocahontas singing.After this part there is no magic.The animation is not that good and i hate the ending.
But I really love the beggining and Ractlife's come back so I can't really say it's rubbish or it's Ok...

My blood pressure sky rockets when I watch it. And it used to confuse me so much as a kid, I thought they'd gotten John Smith's character mixed up and accidentally called him John Rolfe and that they'd completely forgotten what he looked like.

Don't even talk to me about this one. The words Pocahontas sequel don't exist in my vocabulary. I mean goddammit she had to stay with her people at the end of the first and when she FINALLY gets the chance to go to England and find her true love she decided upon the cheap ripoff instead. The only good part of this stupid pointless sequel was that Nakoma got married. Shuffle her off to some poor fool.

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED..... I dont care about historical accuracy, the movie SUCKED! John Smith forever.... not stupid John Rolfe, like seriously... i think her falling for John Rolfe was completely out of her character.

There are millions of reasons why I don't like it... I think they have changed the personalities of the main characters completelly, and the storyline just doesn't make sence. I don't think that John Smith of the 1st movie could ever say things like "It's my dream! I mean... our." or behave with such indifference towards Pocahonras, and not even care that she chose another man instead.

It's sooo boring. The only redeeming quality is "Where Do I Go From Here?"

I have a feeling Disney did it just because they got so much flack for the historical inaccuracies in the 1st one.

I'm in the minority, but I think it was a great sequel and I love the Pocahontas story in general. Couldn't care less who she ends up with, she can be with who ever she wants, her story is still awesome. For me these two movies are like two halves, one doesn't exist without the other. The animation of the first movie is definitely better but I like the music in the second one more.

I actually like it

In my opinion, the whole sequel is horrible, not just the ending. Smith was turned to a comical jerk, despite his character development in the first film. Pocahontas falls in love with a Kocoum-like guy. Ratcliffe's character becomes more cliched( I just hate the scene where he pathetically begs for mercy just like Gaston and Scar). while they had a chance to make him rather untypical villain. King James turned out to be another very cliched character. Old characters from the first movie are OOC, the new character are cliched.
Sequel has no good songs(IMO). No impressive ( funny/touchy/scary/esciting) scenes. It also has hystorical innaccuracies( I consider it as flaw in the sequel because the Rolfe/Pocahontas pairing was created to please historians).
There is nothing good about this sequel in my opinion. Mulan II at least had amusing new characters introduced and two exciting action scenes( although it also has flaws).

To Maria7Potter: I think that letting your crush choose another person is what truly loving person would do. But I also dislike Smith's reaction. Not because he didn't attemp to disturb Pocahontas and Rolfe. Because a truly loving person will always accept your choices and freedom which is a message of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. But the THoND did it much better because of the great screen writing. It made obvious that Quasimodo's feelings to Esmeralda are very deep and that he accepted her choice because of his kindness and selflessness, not because his love wasn't strong enough. While in Pocahontas sequel It seems like that John Smith doesn't truly love Pocahontas because of the poor writing.
