Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't necessarily say she's a good role model, but she's more of a good role model than a bad role model.

She's kind and tries to listen to her aunts even if she doesn't like to. I agree with those above though, she's not a particularly good role model, but more good than bad.

She listens to her aunts and does what they say, hinting that little girls should listen to their mothers. She's also very kind to everyone :)

I don't really think she had time to do much that was good. She disobeyed the fairies by dancing with Phillip, and when she was told she wasn't allowed to be with him she ran into her room and cried.

She is kind and listens to her aunts, but she also can give little girls the idea that they don't have to do a thing in order to achieve their happily ever after.

^^That's not really her actions though. Everything she actually thought about doing was good. She tried to avoid Phillip before Disney Magic Love overcame her. And her was going to be the princess and give up on him for the sake of her kingdom. She didn't WANT to do nothing. That's more an issue with the story.

She's kind, gentle, and polite.
Other than that, she's not a very strong character.

I also want to add that after dancing with Phillip, she remember what her aunts had told her about strangers and invited Phillip back to the cottage so he could meet her aunts and he wouldn't be a stranger anymore.

She's too passive to be a role model IMO.

I like how she's both criticized for being passive (valid) but at the same time criticized for actions that are the opposite of passive. The poor girl can't win. (Not to mention, calling her bad for talking to Phillip is no different than or at least no worse than Ariel going behind Triton's back or Belle going into the west wing or Jasmine running away, but they get praised as bold role models who go after what they want). I find it a realistic flaw on her part.

But yeah, I'd love to meet a girl or boy as polite and responsible as her. Unpopular opinion but going to the castle when she could have pitched a fit or ran away to be with Phillip or be dragged back to the castle was extremely mature and unselfish.

I don't consider her as role model, she simply didn't do anything so she cannot be called a role model imo.
