They're a bit slow in dealing with patients generally...I think the paramedics are the only ones reliable!

No system is perfect, but it suits me just fine.
I pay 115 euros a month for it.
That's about the average for people in the Netherlands. Some people pay a little bit more (if they want to be insured for more) or a little bit less (when they have collective insurance with their work for example).
But my 115 euros is well spent. I had surgery 3 times last year, I take for around 300 euros a month of medication. The only thing I pay is birth-control. That's like 3.50 euro for three months.
(birth control is covered for anyone under 18).
MY friends do not use their insurance so much. FOr them it is more expensive. But they do not mind paying it. They do not mind paying so that other people can get help. And if they ever need meical help, there is no problem in getting it.
