1. Is female violence (including female-on-female violence) portrayed in a comical/comedic light especially in mainstream media?

2. Is female violence ignored hoặc doesn't received much attention?

3. Do bạn know, have bạn met anyone, hoặc have bạn seen/witnessed ANY instances of female violence in your lifetime?

4. Is female violence tổng thể TRIVIALIZED/treated as a TRIVIAL matter? At the same time is it viewed as ACCEPTABLE as well as ENTERTAINING?

1. Is female violence (including female-on-female violence) portrayed in a comical/comedic light especially in mainstream media?

Honestly I think it's the exact opposite. I think people get a kick thêm out of male violence than female. I mean we have shows like the Three Stooges, reality tv hiển thị Jackass, & Tom and Jerry (both are male animals). Slap stick comedy is used thêm on males; Cosmo from Fairly Odd Parents and Timmy Turner seem to take thêm physical abuse than Wanda. Honestly I think that because of a vocal few hyper feminists any from of violence towards women on the media is frowned upon even if men take just as much abuse in the name of comedy.

2. Is female violence ignored hoặc doesn't received much attention?

Again I feel like the exact opposite I the case. Male violence I far thêm likely to be laughed at. Abuse shelters often ask the man what he did rather than offering him a sanctuary from domestic violence. Men are also less likely to báo cáo it due on part to the 'you're a priss' stigma. link

Men according to the following: link make up two thirds of murder victims and commit suicide thêm often.

Female violence on the other hand is frowned upon. Take the gần đây X-Men poster controversy for example; link the creators got in trouble simply for depicting a super villain strangling a super hero. This is super ridiculous to me because 1. feminists claim to be against stereotyping women as weaker and thêm fragile and yet when a poster like this is released it's called sexist and what not. 2. It's a super hero movie theres gonna be violence. The dude in the poster is a bad guy bad guys do bad things. If it were a man getting choked out the controversy would have never happened. When it's a male people turn the other way.

3. Do bạn know, have bạn met anyone, hoặc have bạn seen/witnessed ANY instances of female violence in your lifetime?

Funnily enough I know thêm male victims of abuse--I know 3 and no female victims of physical violence. 2 if đã đưa ý kiến males also experienced sexual violence. 1 of the mental. I know one woman who was a victim of mental violence and 1 of sexual. I didn't witness the latter of the two only heard about it. I did witness the verbal abuse one but couldn't convince her to leave the asshat.

4. Is female violence tổng thể TRIVIALIZED/treated as a TRIVIAL matter? At the same time is it viewed as ACCEPTABLE as well as ENTERTAINING? Once again, not at all bởi any means. As a woman I have tổng thể seem thêm trivialization of male violence to the point of it being made a joke of. Whereas society has started to call anything abuse. I've seen a little tumblr snowflake say that she cried when she found out her boyfriend would hit a woman in Self defense. The only reason she should be concerned about that is if she's abusing him. In general if a woman hits a man if "omg what did he do!" tổng thể society reacts extremely negative to female violence as demonstrated bởi the X Men example where feminist complained to the point the creators were forced to apologize for their 'tactless' ads.

Yup, they are so hyper sensitive in gần đây times. As bạn said, it's like damn, he's the bad guy. Bad guys do bad things. Like why would he care who he's hurting as long as one of the Giải cứu thế giới gets hurt? Female violence in the media is nearly always portrayed as awful and like bạn mentioned used to make the male villain that much thêm hateable. Whereas the male abuse is 'funny'. Cosmo is a great example of a man getting hurt who is portrayed as an idiot. But yeah I think stereotypes play a very strong role as well. The whole men deserve it thing is really annoying it's like the 'you can't be racist to white people' mentality. Literally anyone can be racist to anyone.
