Bwahahaha! Welcome, little people! *cues scary pipe organ music* Yes, the C.A.T.’s out of the bag. It’s true. There are people in existence who do NOT worship the ground the Stephenie Meyer walks on. But before all bạn Twi-hards get mad about it and báo cáo us, let me tell bạn what this spot is NOT. Twi-haters, this applies to bạn as well, so listen up.

This is not an anti spot. (Read that sentence twice, please.)

We are not here to bash Stephenie Meyer hoặc her fans, nor are we here to hate Twilight for the sake of hating it. That’s just as stupid (if not thêm so) as obsessing over Twilight because of Mr. Sparklepants hoặc attacking others for being critical of Twilight. We are not here to fling personal attacks hoặc nasty insults at people, and we aren’t trying to be trolls hoặc ruin anybody’s fun.

We are here because some people just want a place to get away from all the Twilight worship and find some good discussion about it. This is a sanctuary for us to hang out, poke intelligent fun at it, share our criticisms of the series and get some healthy thảo luận going. Some of us may like Twilight, some of us may not. But we all respect that people can like hoặc dislike whatever they want, and we respect the right to voice those opinions, even if we don’t always agree with them.

So please, Twi-hards – give us the same respect. bạn have no reason to come here and complain, hoặc to báo cáo us. We have as much right to be here as bạn do. If bạn don’t like what we have to say, do the mature thing and walk away. Hate mail will get bạn nowhere. You’re thêm than welcome to tham gia us and add to the discussion if bạn want. But if bạn come here to troll, whine hoặc flame us for exercising some Free Speech, we will simply point and laugh at bạn (and possibly báo cáo your các bình luận as spam/abuse), and bạn will look very stupid. Capishe?

And Twi-haters – it’s okay to poke Twilight and be deliciously witty and sarcastic...but don’t get nasty. There is a fine line between criticism and cruelty. Don’t say dumb things like “OMG edwards so gay becuz he sparklz,” “twilight sucks [bleep],” etc. Just don’t. If bạn have something negative to say about Twilight, please put it in a way that isn’t crude, unintelligent hoặc mean-spirited. If bạn don’t want things to get ugly, don’t make them ugly. Comprende?
