I understand him, because he is *~*Chuck Bass*~* and the speech his father made sounded (even to me) like "OH HEY CHUCK YOU ARE NOW A RESPONSIBLE MAN AND YOU WILL *~*NEVER HAVE FUN AGAIN IN YOUR LIIIIIFE!*~*" so I can understand that he freaked out, but STILL.

He was a jerk, but no matter what you do to her, Blair always bounces back. She didn't seem terribly upset.

But he was still a jerk.

I don't think that what he did was right, and I'm kind of dissapointed, but I do understand him. He freaked out because his father actually said that he was never gonna have fun AGAIN! And he made the wrong choice, but I can understand it because that was the way he had been living his whole life, and before falling for Blair, he actually didn't even know of another sort of living. And Blair will forgive him in episode 3 according to some spoilers I read out there and they are still going to the trip together. I just hope that Blair will find out, because if she doesn't, then the problem will be there all along like forever... I want her to know it, and then to forgive him. I do want him to work for it, though.
HE WAS SO THE CUTEST IN THE FINALE! The last thing was like totally out of character!

I still team Chuck. I still love him and he's still my favorite character. And I loved Blair last episode. She was like so cute when she was talking with Serena about Chuck! THAT TOTALLY CRACKED ME UP! =)

I understand completely why he did it and I'm not mad at him in the least. He did what he thought he needed to, because his dad was scaring him. It's understandable.

I am sooo mad at what he did. They were finally together and he completely blew it. But I agree with earlier comments that I hope Blair knows about it before she forgives him...otherwise the guilt will just drag on forever...and we're all gonna hate it. ugh. They were so sweet together in the last episode. *sigh*

Yes at first i was mad at him but i've put all the blame on bart now. I mean, what kind of dad does that to his son, completely freaking him out like that? :shakes head: an idiot. i still love chuck and chair! :)

I don't blame Bart, I think he was honestly thinking that he was giving Chuck a genuine compliment.
Unfortunately, 'you are so responsible and adult now!' doesn't sound like a compliment to Chuck.

I was disappointed too, but he only did it because Bart said all that stuff and then he got cold feet, but i think Chuck will come around and CHAIR WILL HAPPEN!!! Hopefully :D
