I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘Scream Queens’ TV Series on cáo, fox — Ryan Murphy Producing | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
boss Ryan Murphy, placing a 15-episode order for a “genre-bending comedy-horror anthology series” titled
‘s Lea Michele Confirms Frozen Cover in Season 6, Shares Set Photo
 — which is slated to bow next fall — will feature a new setting and storyline each season. The first installment will revolve around a college campus rocked by a series of murders.
with his longtime collaborators Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto.
Season 6 Plan Revealed: Rachel Revives New Directions and More
“I knew I wanted to work with Brad and Ian again on something comedic, and we are having a blast writing
,” said Murphy in a statement. “We hope to create a whole new genre – comedy-horror – and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads. We’ve already begun a nationwide search for those women, as well as 10 other supporting roles, and we’re very grateful to Dana and Gary for their enthusiastic support.”
Gee, female leads in a slasher series, how original… I thought that the ‘Queens’ wasn’t literal. Also, his leading ladies pretty much blow (evidence: the cast of female sterotypes in AHS Coven).
Disagree. I loved Coven’s cast — they just really dropped the ball in the latter part of the season. It could have been so much more interesting.
No. Coven started out pretty strong and fell apart towards the end….just like Asylum.
They started out well and then fell apart at the end of the first episode when Zoe raped/killed a guy in a coma.
Um, Asylum didn’t fall apart. The ending is a tad on the whelming side, but far from the monstrous falling apart Coven had.
Yeah there is April Fool’s Day (1986). Evil Dead 2 (1987). Vincent Price is very funny but still sinister in House on Haunted Hill (1959). I am sure there are plenty of other examples before Scream in (1996).
The fact that he said that (along with how he’s carried out AHS) proves he’s clearly not too familiar with the genre.
Sounds like the show ABC Family had in mind with Jamie Lee Curtis. Speaking of which, Curtis would be great as the lead! Maybe with Neve Campbell? – playing Headmaster and teacher at the school?
I’m hoping Neve Campbell returns as Sidney for MTV’s Scream series.
Is the JLC show with the same name dead then?
Murphy must have built a lot of business clout if 20th Century keeps throwing money at this guy, in spite of the overall quality of his work.
Comedy horror is a new genre? I think Wess Craven will beg to differ.
Yeah not gonna watch that. I actually promised myself not to watch anything that he creates. The bitter taste of stuff he produced that goes to sh*t the moment he loses interest with is still present. So why get invested into watching something that turns to crap mid season 1. Not to mention he treats people who watches his stuff like sh*t. ASH looks like perfect thing for his ADD. Should stick with it while people still watch it.
…She is quite possibly the worst actress he’s ever worked with, and that’s saying something considering I’ve seen Glee.
After what happened with Glee and much of his other stuff surprised they are working with him again
Can’t we just get a new season of Nip/Tuck? If Murphy must do horror, just make The Carver the antagonist again!
There’s a cheap plastic feel to most of Ryan Murphy’s stuff. This will hopefully be different, but it definitely doesn’t sound high rent.
