Anyways, seeing the discussion about the actress chosen to play Ariel lead me to think that I could share my thoughts on Naomi Scott who was casted as Jasmine. I think Disney missed out on representing women who actually look like Jasmine, with her large nose and tan skin, something that's already considered an imperfection in the cultures that Disney referenced in Aladdin.
