Dizzily, I awoke, my vision blurred bởi some occurrence. Twisting around, I noted that I was in a bus. Well of course I’m in a bus, we were on our way back from a school trip, I thought to myself, rolling my eyes at my own lack of memory.

But then I noticed what I was lying against. The inside of the bus wall, with blood on my arm. As fear penetrated my heart, I lifted my golden-locked shoulder-length head of hair and peered through my smoky brown eyes. The bus was lying on its side from some obvious toss around.

Delicately I stood up to my full five foot eight muscular figure, a nervous chuckle...

The Plan
I looked in the cracked mirror, Sad and lonley...Well not lonley, I did have my circus preformers(or slaves as I was taught to call them)But most of them thougt I was a freak! I know they woun't dare say that to my face, but I hear them,"I hate her so much,"and,"she is such a freak!"(I hate when pepole call me that!)
What did I do wrong?I gave them everything they needed, and made sure they were perfect. They work three hours a day, how hard is that, I work non-stop.I always try to make sure I'm perfect in every way,but there is always something wrong in my routine.I always try to make...

Danni, Alec and I stumbled around the sideways bus, stepping on glass, before we came across Cassie Brookes bleeding profusely out through a head wound in the back of her skull. Leaning over her cooling skin, she coughed up blood as she tried to speak; “Watch-” A cough of blood. “Out for-” Another cough. “The bus-” A third. “Driver.”

“Watch out for, the bus driver?” Danni asked, confusion and sorrow dripping in her voice. “Watch out for what reason?” The three of us looked expectantly at Cassie as blood bubbled out from her mouth and her twitching hand stopped moving....

I knew that as soon as that new kid stepped onto our campus, there was going to be some big problem. There always was. I just didn’t know how bad this problem would be.

I was in PE class when this kid ran up to me. He wore yellow gym shorts and a gray t-shirt that brought out his fiery red hair and sparkling green eyes. However, I’d never seen him before. “Are bạn Mary?” He asked as a dodge ball whistled past us.
“Yeah. I’m Mary.” I pushed a strand of hair out of my face as I exhaled and dodged another dodge ball.
“You’re wanted in the main office.” He handed me a slip...

Chapter 1
Tragedies

The whispers followed me like the wind as I felt hollow inside. It was as though a darkness had engulfed me tightly, wrapping me in something horridly evil, something that wouldn’t let go without a tiresome fight over this secret. My secret – one which I would be unable to keep even in the most desperate of situations – weighed heavily on my sagging shoulders. Of course no one knew it yet, I had only found out hours ago. Still, it felt as if – somehow – everyone did.
When I’d found out, I hadn't known how to react; it had all come as a shock to me. I still didn't...

[i]It always started with the last horrible phút of being trapped inside the front of my dad’s wrecked car. Only in my dreams, I wasn’t the frightened eleven năm old girl screaming and twisting vehemently to free herself from the restraining hold of the seatbelt while trying to shake her bloodied father awake. In my nightmares, I was my present seventeen năm old self and instead of being trapped bởi the ghế, chỗ ngồi belt, I was outside our totaled car watching through the windshield as my father heave his last breath. I knew what would be next, as if I have engraved this in my memory, I would...

The Life and Career of Marie Osmond
The Life and Career of Marie Osmond
I've always thought that a person's taste in đọc material can sometimes be a window into their soul.

It was surprising to me to learn that a reserved, pragmatic writer like Randy Jernigan had been drawn into the youthful fantaisie world of of witchcraft and wizardry. When I posed the question, 'who are bạn a người hâm mộ of?' his answer came quick.

"I'm a người hâm mộ of anything bởi J K Rowling. There's something about her style that just sucks me right into the story--and I like that about a writer.

"I didn't start đọc her Harry Potter series until after the fourth book, I think it was. I wasn't impressed...

The sun was hidden behind the clouds, it had started raining heavily an giờ ago; it was now lesser but not quite a drizzle yet. Everyone was enjoying the welcoming weather from inside their homes; well almost everyone. There was one person who was enjoying the rains outside of her home. She was a young girl of 22 who was standing in her backyard with her arms spread wide as the raindrops poured on her, leaving her drenched from head to toe. Her eyes were closed and she was smiling as she started to whirl around taking in the wonderful feeling of being wet in the rain.

Someone called out to...
