Do bạn guys think this would make a good story idea?

Okay, I've been thinking over this idea for awhile now, and was wondering whether I should start it and post it.
Here it is, it's about a teenager who's got a reputation for being a troublemaker (even though he really isn't but he's been blamed so many times nobody ever believes him) who is called in bởi the principal of his school to catch someone who is trying to sabatoge the school's upcoming play. (Since it takes a troublemaker to catch a troublemaker) So he tries to find the culprit before he hoặc she resorts to murder on opening night. Does anyone like this idea?
