Scipio hoặc Prosper?

Oh darling, please! Scipio has my vote all the way honey. He's so suave, and so mysterious, not to mention that his being Italian helps his case out alot thêm than dear Prosper! A god among mortals, my dear!

i like Prosper becaue SCIPIO LIED.He made himself like, their leader and đã đưa ý kiến that he was so good at stealing when in fact he just took them from himself. i wouldn't say that either of them are my favourite though...

Well, Scipio is certainly a great character, but I have to say that Prosper is the better (and happier) person. His actions are all motivated bởi his concern for Bo, whereas Scipio is pretty self-centered. The book is largely from Prosper's perspective, so we get to see his emotions a lot thêm than Scipio's. He needs to steal, but doesn't like to, whereas Scipio doesn't need to steal and does anyway (from his parents). Scipio lies to his Những người bạn etc.
As well, Scipio may have a very impressive persona as the Thief Lord, but it's largely an act used to vent his feelings against his father. Prosper is only twelve, but he gets Bo all the way from Hamburg to Venice without being caught, feeds his brother, and teaches himself Italian (which he speaks unrealistically well) in only a few weeks. Now that's impressive!

As I have đã đưa ý kiến before, Scipio has a very complete character. I don't feel like he lied to them on purpose. The kids didn't actually try to understand his problems. All that Scipio did was try to understand theirs. He took care of them. I like Prosper in a different way. He took care of Bo, and was an honest person.
