Hi guys, I watched the movie last night after so many years, and it has been coming to 9 years since I watched the stage version in Singapore. So here is my review on both the stage and movie versions.

The Stage Version

I tình yêu the settings and the choreography, especially the Dạ hội giả trang scene during the opening of the một giây act. One thing I was disappointed is that I did not get a chance to sit in front role where the chandelier came crashing down at the end of the first act!
The âm nhạc are amazing and memorable, acting-wise was perfect. I really wanted to see it again! Carlotta always make me laugh till I died, including the managers themselves.

The Movie Version

Although the movie is 90% faithful towards the original stage version, some of the songs were shorten and the lyrics were change.
Secondly, many of them, especially Raoul, Christine and the Phantom are newcomers when I first saw the movie for the first time here in Malaysia. I always thought that the Phantom is played bởi Antonio Banderas and Christine is played bởi Anne Hathaway, but I was wrong afterwards!
Overall, the story, the costume and the direction are amazing and bright. So bravo to the director, Joel Schumacher and the creative team!
