Capcom Co. Ltd. this week said Resident Evil 7 for Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 4, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One and the PC has sold 3.5 million units at global retail.
Resident Evil 7 includes a first-person view and trademark survival horror. The title takes place after Resident Evil 6 in a desolate plantation mansion. It utilizes a new proprietary in-house RE Engine that includes VR orientated tools.
Banned Footage Vol. 1 includes Bedroom to figure out how to escape a locked room, Nightmare to fend off waves of enemies, and Extra Mode: Ethan Must Die. It sells at $9.99.
Banned Footage Vol. 2 includes 21 to gamble in a deadly game by Lucas Baker, Daughters to see what the Baker family was like pre-Resident Evil 7, and Extra Mode: Jack’s 55th Birthday to race against the clock and feed Jack tons of food. It sells at $14.99.
The Not a Hero DLC will be released at no cost at a to-be-determined date.
