Are bạn allowed to ngày hoặc are your parents strict and only allow the guy/girl to do family things?

Parents dont let me ngày :P which i find kinda sucks but im allowed to do other things beside family ones

I am supposedly allowed to ngày but it doesn't matter anyway because nobody ever asks me out... The two guys I've asked out in my life both rejected me... :(
