Why do bạn think this is?

Alright, so bạn know when someone loses a loved one hoặc has some other misfortune befall on them others will say "I will pray for you" hoặc "they're in a better place"? Well I have seen some people actually get mad when people say these things. Now I get that those people don't believe in religion, of course, and that's fine, everyone should believe, and not believe, in whatever they want. What I don't get is why they get so angry over someone trying to comfort them in their own way. Why do bạn think that is?

Because people tend to get offended bởi everything. They focus thêm on the words than the motives, especially if it conflicts with their beliefs.
I've gotten through that weird religion hating phase (but I guess hate is a strong word here, just generally not liking it).

-I guess some people feel this way because if bạn accept sympathy, then bạn must acknowledge that bạn have a loss. So if bạn want to be in denial, sympathy is the last thing bạn want to accept.
- Sympathy can feel like pity and nobody wants to be pitied.

Mainly because many people choose to be offended bởi almost anything.

But in their defense, the only reason why I'd imagine they'd get mad at that response is because they're not in a stable place of mind, they Mất tích someone they loved and some people get angry and hostile while they're grieving, others are thêm passive and quiet.

But if they do react that way, just leave it be and give them space. Grief can change people so wait for them to handle it in their time.
