Well the way bạn hear your voice is not the way others hear your voice. When bạn hear your voice on a recording, you're hearing your real voice... The voice that others hear.

Like on the phone? I've been told that on the phone my voice sounds different than in person. I've also been told I sound exactly like my sister. So, maybe.

well the thing is that when people record themselves they have a set tone of voice that they believe is what they sound like. to them sometimes it'll feel as if the person they recorded isnt really them, even though it is i'll tell bạn my voice sounds really weird to me on video and shit

Not really... It's just that when bạn speak, the voice comes from bạn so bạn hear it differently.
