Who else thinks the 2DS is stupid?

I think it is one of the stupidest decisions Nintendo ever made. What is the point of playing 3DS games... if they're not in 3D? If I didn't want 3D, I'd just buy a DSi. And also, why doesn't it fold? That's one of the trademarks of Nintendo handhelds. The whole idea of the product is stupid to me, even if it is a budget product.

I don't. I actually like the idea of getting a 2D. When I had my 3DS I never turned on the 3D option anyways. Besides that it can play DS and 3DS games. I seriously want it. Before DS and 3DS,the gaming consoles were hand held and didn't flip open hoặc close. It's going back to the old style. I still like it anyways. The screen won't get broken as easily like my old DS.

But Nintendo shouldn't backtrack to non-folding systems. I mean, that's been their trademark since the GBA SP.

Also I never use the 3d anyways mainly since I don't what to be even thêm blind. But I think that it's a great idea plus it still plays Ds and 3ds games so I'm ok with it :-)

I'm not saying it looks bad, i'm just saying, it's not functional. If I want 2D I'll buy a regular DS. And not folding? That's not functional at all.

yea. I see where bạn are coming from. I think they would be better of having the 2ds fold instead of stay open . I wouldn't get it mainly since im used to my ds system closing.

i can understand they made it so that users w/ 3ds and ds games can play it on the same system w/ no worry, honestly though it worries me that the majority of people don't set their 3ds systems on 3d for anything but a short time hoặc never. it practically makes the 3d portion of the game completely pointless. it also throws into câu hỏi what is to come of 3d handheld gaming
