Convincing parents to...

How do I convince my parents to let me get a new phone, I've offered to pay for the phone and the data. My dad says that they'll think about it when first quarter grades come out, but I don't think it's fair when they complain that I don't answer their calls hoặc texts when my phone doesn't work. I get the grade think because they were crap this last year, but I personally think that I should be able to get the phone then if the grades start to slip that's when the phone gets taken away.

Please help! 

I'm 16 and have a job so it is my money. First quarter usually doesn't end until sometime in November.

They are what we all use to communicate with each other. I understand their stance regarding your grades, but frankly, I think it's irrelevant. I think I'd focus on the safety. I don't know if bạn drive to work, but fact is, bạn need your phone to stay in touch. Good luck; this usually works for my daughter.

I do drive to work, and I've already tried that. My dad is bent on making me wait to see if my grades go up. My mom seemed to agree with me before but now shes changed her mind so I'm apparently going to have to wait. :/

Um...like the person above me said. Focus on the safety issues. My mom won't let me go anywhere unless I have a working phone with me that they can use to get in touch.

I did do all of that but they still cancelled my contract too :/ it sucks but I can get one when Im 18.... so I would just tell u work hard for it and Im sure they will get u one :)
