Is anime "mainstream"?

Don't kill me.

I'm wondering... Everyone here talks about how they don't like "mainstream" stuff (which is được ưa chuộng stuff everyone likes).

And if bạn look at fanpop, almost everyone seems to like anime... wait no, tình yêu anime...

So I'm wondering, doesn't that make it mainstream? hoặc at least on fanpop?

I wouldn't say it is mainstream due to the fact there's alot of anime haters still on fanpop. And I MEAN tons of anime haters. It is được ưa chuộng but it is nowhere near mainstream.

Twilight,Justin Bieber,One Direction, and Hunger Games,etc are the mainstream subjects.

... What? The anime hoặc the photo? If bạn are referring to the anime then It's one of my favourites: 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' if bạn are talking about the bức ảnh then... I dunno TT TT
