I think bạn should try as hard as bạn can to convince your mom to let bạn date. If, and only if it really can't work out and you're sure there's no good reason for it and bạn really wanna date... then maybe bạn should.
But I'm no expert so I might not be the best person to ask.

Sounds like a ridiculous idea...your mom might actually have a reason bạn can't think of.

I think bạn should really talk to your mom about it and aske her for the reason why she doesnt like him so much. If its something that she doesnt like about him then I suggest bạn talk to him about it and see if hes willing to change then tell your mok about it and try to convince her. Never ngày someone behind your parents back especially if they have an issuse with the boy. The result of that is never good and xould make things worse. Also if trying to ngày him behind her back and she finds out then its possible she wont even give the guy a chance at all now.
