How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of murdered?

i think this person has to be like in the law hoặc something like hoặc they were killed for political reasons becuase if it was religious it might be considered a matyr so im sayin those like the prezz

The person has to be known and/or loved at least on a national scale.

Major political figure, religious leader, civil rights activist (Martin Luther King, Jr.), etc.

Obama. Maybe a little lower too.
