Most say that they are a 'distraction'. But actually, the real reason for my school was that they greatly resembled what we call 'Sex bracelets'. The kind that if bạn break a certain color, it means that you've done a certain sexual thing.
Silly bandz highly resemble the Sex bracelets and the schools in most districts around my state banned them for that reason. I miss my Silly bandz!

ugh the schools need to get over themselves. do they seriously think that kids would wear them because of what sex scandals they did? I mean, even with the Sex bracelets from before... they just need to get over themselves. and they say WE have the dirty minds... -.-
yaeh my friend has them and was saying this crap about, "Dont break that! bạn break that, bạn just had sex with your boyfriend hoặc whatever :S BRING THE BRACELETS BACK!
my school hasnt banded them (yay!!) and in m school silly bands and sex bands are two different things and they still havent banded either from my school and that dont really care cuz they have had the cops on us b4 so we rnt very scared of the cops (i didnt get in trouble for the cops crap its just that my school has a lot of bad kids in it)

And its still not banned. Instead teachers say, If I see that again, its mine, and bạn will not get it back.Some give it to there kids, others break it and throw it out.
