then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around bạn and lifted bạn to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
He knew that bạn were suffering, He knew bạn were in pain,
He knew that bạn would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb,
as He closed your weary eyelids and whispered 'Marienne it is time'.
Through tearful eyes we watched bạn and saw bạn slip away,
and although we loved bạn dearly we knew bạn could not stay.
A golden tim, trái tim stopped beating, hard working hands at rest,
God's garden is thêm beautiful now, because we know he took the best.
