I woke up shivering in my bunk. All around me, i saw my siblings dreaming. I heard Micheal from somewhere above me muttering about evil blueprints.
I didnt wanna know what that was about.
I thought back to my nightmare. That voice in my head, like a cold breeze, scared me even more that spiders. What has she talking about? What as that part about percy?
I decided a walk to the neptune cabin had to comfort me.
I pulled a hairbrush into my hair. I dont know why. I just did.
I looked down. Last night, I had been up so late, i fell asleep in my camp t shirt and jeans.
I walked past the SMART board, (courtesy of Athena). The owl's eyes on the wall seemed to follow me everywhere i went.
Was i hallucinating?
I pulled open the door and walked passed the other cabins.
It was so quiet. Unatually quiet.
I waled up to cabin three.
I pulled the door open just a bit to see that Percy wasn't there.
I knew where Seaweed Brain was, of course. Whenever he has nightmares too, he goes to the beack. Most of the time i acompany him. There, on the sand. He was staring out at the sea.
-hey. He jumped. He hadn't even seen me.
-Anna beth. he patted the space beside him. I sat down and took his hand. He took his other arm and put it around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
He looked at me. I guess It was light enough to see my face because he asked
-what's wrong?
I sighed.
- Percy, i started, im scared. not for me. for you.
I told him all about my nightmare. He didn't seem surprised. I guess he was having similar dreams.
When i was finished blubbering, I found that my eyes where moist.
He didnt say anything. He just stared at me for a while. His eyes where sad.
He said"its gonna be okay. We ARE gonna get through this. The he leaned in to kiss me.
His kiss always seemed to calm me. I don't know where id be without him. Lost.Alone.A mess.
We styed on the beach. At one point, i guess i fell asleep. Because when i woke up it was day. The air was warm. I had percy's sweater around me.
I saw him at the waters edge. At first i thougt it has a ghost. It's figure seemed to be flickering in the dazzling light. Then, as I got up, the figure dissapeared into mist. I heard Pery give an angry yell. He turned and ran back into his cabin. I heard his cabin slam from all the way here. I ran after him. I pounded at his door. then i barged in.
-Percy what's wrong?
Percy looked at me. His eyes where angrier than i had ever seen them.
Then, as i saw into them, i saw his expression change. It looked desperate.
He strode across he room and pulled me into a hug.
-Percy, what--
He didn't let me finish. He kissed me so furiosly, so passonatly, i didn't even bother to finish. I was lost.
I forgot my name, who i was, everything. All i knew was Percy in my arms, kissing me. I heard some one come in, and then they left. Percy didn't even twitch.
Then i heard them come in again, and shout
NO TWO CAMPERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE SAME CABIN ALONE!! I REPEAT< NO TWO CAMPERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE SAME CABIN ALONE!!!!
Conner. I broke away and slammed the door into Conner's face. Before i could, i heard Percy sigh.
-Conner, is anyone dying?
-No.
Is anyone in grave danger.
-no.
Is there something wrong.
No.
THEN GET THE HELL OUT! He yelled.
He slammed the door in Conners face. Beyond him, i saw a crowd forming.
The door shut and Percy turned to me.

His whole face contorted in pain.
My eyes filled with tears.
-I nedd to tell you-
He shut his eyes tight.Then, without warning, he fell to the floor.
-Help! i screamed.
I heard footsteps. no, hooves.
Grover burst in and yelled.
Percy gripped my hand so hard it hurt. But i didnt care. I didn't care about anything but him.
-No matter what happens, ill always love you he choked out.
He tried to ean in, but it was obvious it hurt too much. I leaned in instead and kissed him.
-Youre not leaving me " i said in a forceful voice.
He gave a feeble hint of a smile, then he cupped his hand around my cheek.
-ill see you again. i promise ill never forget you.
Ten he dissolved in to thin air, and i was holding nothing.
That was three weeks ago. My whole life is now devoted to the one cause i have. finding him. Ill do anything, go anywhere, to find him.
