Is anyone else really annoyed when people say Naruto is just mindless fighting and action?

Everywhere I look on the internet (where Naruto is mentioned), people seem to be saying it. I don't understand how people can think that - it's so untrue!! :( I mean, have they ever even watched far enough to see Shikamaru hoặc Ibiki in action? I am sick to death of all the hatred towards Naruto out there.

Sorry, I just really needed to rant about that.
