I'm still watching season 3, but I know spoliers & I'm kinda confused...
I felt like the hiển thị was family-stype "prequel" for arthurian legends, not their interpretation. I thought the writers will introduce the characters, hiển thị their journey/adventures, but end the hiển thị with Arthur being king supporting magic, with Merlin as his official advisor etc, not with his death. Last night it was officially announced Merlin will not be returning after series 5 (with a possibility of a film triology).
