How can you pick just one? I went with the one that meant the most to me.

I think that the reason I love Rilla of Ingleside so much is because it's a lot more grown-up then any of the other Anne books, and it's set in WW1. Also, I love the fact that Rilla and Kenneth Ford end up together, as he is the son of Leslie Ford, and her and Anne were the best of chums in the House of Dreams days. I also like that Jem and Faith and Nan and Jerry get married.

The House of Dreams and Rainbow Valley would have to be second and third.

I love all of them, but I especially like this book because we get more insight into Anne's thoughts!! :)

You know, I think I might start re-reading an Anne book again......

And Anne of Avonlea

This is my absolute favorite, but "Rilla of Ingleside" is a close second. I didn't read it until I was almost a teenager, which made me attach to Rilla just as strongly as I had to Anne when I read the 1st book at the age of 8. Rilla is the child most like Anne, but she's awesome in her own ways. For one, she has Gil and Anne in her gene pool. She couldn't be uncool if she tried! :)

i love this 1-where she finally realizes she does love gilbert. Plus I love reading about her university life.
